What is going on with the No4? Is that just a No1 buttstock niggarigged onto it? I seem to recall some of the trials rifles coming with stock disks but a lot of their furniture was replaced, and that rifle doesn't appear to be a pre-production model.

To who it was issued and how it was used is now anybody's guess, but with how desperate the situation was in the late war for the people using those rifles it's quite likely it was used in combat of some sort.
