So what do these mass shooter tards do wrong to injure 47 and kill 6?

I'm not advocating mass shooting in any way but it just seems like you have to be a serious fuck up to open fire in a crowded building and have such shit numbers
>>
>>32575677
have you seen videos of any mass shootings? literally none of them take the time to aim and are point shooting/hip firing.
>>
>>32575677

>>
They do what the anti-gunners tell them to, spray fire from the hip. Results in a lot of flesh wounds and few dead.
>>
The people who do these shootings very rarely know much about firearms, ballistics, and military strategy. They see guns as a tool to cause the damage they want to cause, but they don't know how to work them.
>>
>>32575716
Also I don't know for sure, but I have to imagine the news stations are very generous with the "injured" reports. If little Timmy falls and scrapes his knee during the rush to get away from the gunman, he'll ask the paramedics for a band-aid which they'll have to record in their logs, and so you have another "shooting injury" for the news to fluff up their numbers.
>>
>>32575716
That's bullshit, a great portion of terrorists/gangsters that carry out shootings are ex-military and have the training.

You answered your own question. That is not the action of a stable, sane person. They're going to be adrenaline dumping, hyperventilating, and going through all of the headfuckery that anons who've been in combat have told us about. On top of that, they're trying to do all of the things the voices in their heads are screaming at them to do. And there's a good chance they didn't sleep very well the night before, plus who knows when they last had a proper meal.

None of that stuff is conducive to proper shooting technique.
>>
>>32575716
>The people who do these shootings very rarely know much about military strategy
And that wouldn't help them much either, since it is about tactics.

Because most of these assholes don't know the first thing about what they're about to do.

Case in point; Ronald McDonald used a Beta magazine, a 100rd double-drum renowned for it's bad quality and performance.
He also uses birdshot and seemed to think gunpowder works like conventional explosives because he made some boobytraps which didn't work.

Eric & Dylan cut down some passable duck guns, then brought a Hi-Point rifle and Tec-9 pistol.
From a start out point, not terrible general purpose civvie guns (besides the Intratec), but really not amazing fighting weapons, especially not after they had niggered them up.
They also made some IEDs from propane tanks which didn't work for the most part.

Most of these guys just kind of stumble through wanton violence with a quasi-randomly chosen gun, little plans (beyond picking gun free zones), little training or thought, then shoot themselves when cops show up.

The ones which worked efficiently, like Breivik or Omar knew to pick a decent gun and to corner lots of victims. Breivik put autistic amount of thought into it but then it all just boiled down into blasting teens and double tapping them when they were done.
Omar I think probably got lucky because some fucking idiot blocked the emergency exit (and I hope they feel like shit now).

Those who are competent and able aren't insane enough to do it.

Those insane enough to do it aren't competent, coherent, or able to train for it or do it "well", or even don't care to.

That's it. It's that simple. The closest was this new guy at Ft. Lauderdale, being ex-Military and actually being VERY scarily effective with like one reload in a subcompact, but then he laid down because he wasn't aiming to kill as many as possible, he was just losing his fucking mind.

It's really that simple.

They usually don't know how to use their weapon, or aim. Since it's a psychotic action most are nervous or panicked.

Then take the rare example of just a nut cracker like Charles Whitman, former Marine, that is a true psycho killer who just find a high point and starts sniping bitches.

Some self defense blog did a series of post on analyzing mass shootings and what works and what doesn't (this was for later posts about defenses against at shootings). Short answer was that the more rounds they put into individuals, the more killed. Which seems obvious but since pop culture and media have taught everyone that a single shot is 100% fatal a bunch of these guys fire wildly into crowds and don't keep shooting the wounded. Cho was an exception.
>>
>>32575677
You also have to consider that the '47 injured' refers to anyone who says they stub a toe during the event. Anyone transported to a hospital for any reason.

Shoot up a movie theater? People crush to get out the exits and cause injuries? Add it to the total.

Same guy, additional post.

I'm giving a shout out to Whitman because I'm former muhreen grunt and it does show what is capable with competent training.

But the way I'd go out, is more this style. So Army technically has high score, not in shootings but kill count. They can still suck it tho.
>>

Utoya was secondary so he could go out in a blaze

No. The daycare was in the building.

The only legitimate argument was a lot of people were civilians working for the FEDz.

He hit their headquarters. He hit his target. There was just some collateral damage.

He hit the wrong part of the building. The part he hit was largely a daycare and civilian contractor area. He missed the part of the building his targets were in. It was almost all "collateral damage" and very few Feds.

Yet we bitch about other countries using human shields

In fact, Smith says, McVeigh had first seriously considered targeting the Federal Building in Phoenix, but "he decided that there were too many buildings around it."
>>
>>32577761
100% this. Why don't we just assign every Soldier and Marine a baby they have to take care of and take on patrols?

This implies that the goal is straight-up causing the death of others instead of carnage and mayhem. Anyways all these people are straight-up crazy, but not necessarily incapable of determining right from wrong. He did go to law enforcement, though, and sought help, so this end result does seem problematic. We'll know more when more information becomes available, I suppose

Largely this, plus the human body is fairly tough. If medical care is nearby a gunshot wound can often be treated and the victim survive. If a round hits something vital (heart, brain etc...) you probably won't last long enough to get on the OR table, but anything that hits something non-vital gives you a fighting chance at least.

I mean you have VEPR and PTR rifles for pretty cheap. You would think more of these retards would be running expensive guns optimized for the situation. Semi auto belt feds, 308 battle rifles, SP/JHP ammo, etc. Only exception afaik was anders brevik who complained that he could only get a mini14 and considered lacing his bullets with poison

I guess you have to be pretty dumb to shoot up a place anyway.

because if you aren't aiming with a 9mm you aren't gonna get a good bullets fired to kills ratio. Look at how many people survived being shot 3-5 times with a 9mm between columbine and Virginia tech... astonishing.
>>
>>32575677
They don't know much about firearms. That's all it really boils down to. If they knew much about firearms then they would probably have done their shootings with shotguns instead of pistols or low powered rifles.
>>
>>32579099
Do you know where you are? More importantly, do your parents know where you are?
>>
>>32578847
I'm thinking the same entirely, if you know you're more than likely going to die at the end of it, why not take out a loan and get a battle rifle or something similar that would let you take out as many targets as possible with the effectiveness of the round the gun fires. Not like you're going to be paying it back. But then again, many of them probably aren't that knowledgeable about firearms, Lanza had a decent idea in that he trained with his pistols and possibly AR iirc, but he was still less effective than Cho.

Also surprised less /k/ommandos are mass shooters these days. Board has gotten more /r9k/ by the day after 2015 if not earlier.
