What's your opinion on NP3 coated BCGs? Seems like a good way to speed up the cleaning process
Thinking of picking one up from Wilson Combat
my seekins nitride takes all of 5 minutes

as does my regular phosphate bcg. in all honesty, get whatever youd like, so long as its a quality product from a quality company.

This. All I use is phosphate bcg's by brands I trust. No issues. No need to spend extra money on something not needed.
Sure, it's cool, does help, but it's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist...Like most ar15 parts.

Wat

but if I don't spend all my money on brand new parts for my AR every 2 months even though I only shoot it once every 6 months, how will anyone know I'm a really cool operator who does operator things all the time?!

People that buy them see to like them. That could just be them justifying an unnecessary purchase.
They may well make cleaning easier, but they don't really help function. Proper lubrication is more important than a clean BCG anyway.
