>glock knuckle
>literally articles all over the internet on how to fix Gen 4 Glock issues since they're so commonplace

>"they're drop dead reliable!"

You know what's actually reliable? The fucking M9 but nobody admits it.
>>
>>32563346
Buy the Gen 3 instead, problem solved.
>>
>>32563346
>I'm smart and experienced because I parrot criticisms that I've never experienced personally with a gun I don't have
Bet you run drills every weekend with your team, huh
>>
>>32563346

>yfw not everyone's hands are exactly the same

Glock fits fine in my hand, M9 is a larger and heaver gun with a thicker grip
doesn't feel great for me, maybe it does for you

>"drop dead reliable"
irrelevant, reliability has nothing to do with comfort or preference
>>
Glocks and M9s arw tough and reliable.

OP sounds like a pussy though.
>>
Or you could realize that handgun preferences are almost always subjective. I'm a CZ guy personally, I don't like glocks that much, but they're not shitty.
>>
I have to acknowledge the dedication of the autist trying to start shit between Glock and Beretta owners recently.
>>
>>32564627
Wow, they're catching on...hopefully they didn't find out about that one lone asshole that pops into Sig threads mentioning rust or exetershit..

i like my glock, sig, USP & my Python.

Muh gen 4 did this..... for this first 200 rounds. It's fine now.

wheelgatfag here
we all like starting shit with glock owners, glocks are the modern handgun equivalent of the katana

Really the M9? Holy fuck I hope this is bait, because that has to be the worst choice of competition for a Glock. There's a reason even the military is trying to drop that hot piece of shit.

Is it true the glock doesn't have a safety button?
>inb4 muh safety is muh finger
>>
>>32564890
maybe in perception, certainly not in functionality
>>
>>32565095
It totally is though, katana was primarily just a backup weapon nobody in their right mind would use it over a long gun or longbow, mostly only effective against unarmored opponents, muh glock durability is like 1000 times folded nippon steel, muh hallow points modern effectiveness is like katana cutting through car engine block, ect. there are just too many similar parallels to deny

I'm sure you won't mind when your weapon jams or misfires and Tyrone shoots you dead because at least you died with a good feeling in your hand.

>>
>>32563346
There's also this:

>Due to the mag shape (floorplate isn't flared) and sharp edges of the magwell, if you load quickly you end up with a chunk of your palm in thr magwell

Especially true of the 19 sized models. My buddy ended up with a nice cut on his palm from switching from a 17 to 19.

>Inb4 glockfag cognitive dissonance: w-well you're supposed to load mags slow and carefully!!!
>>
>>32564446
How can a gun manufacturer that had to recall thousands of models for literally blowing the fuck up and debilitating people's hands, didn't recall many thousands of models that didn't work at all with lights attached to their rails, and states that their limpwristing issue is a user error and not a design flaw, still be dubbed reliable?

Oh that's right, rampant fanboyism.

M9 received as shit then amazing a couple years later.

Glock every generation received as shit then amazing some time later.

Chinese AK and SKS imports received as shit then amazing years later.

M1911 received as bleh blehhhhhh

WASR received blehhhhhhh

AR platforms recei... BLAHNLAHBLAH

Of which all are now considered generally* good guns. The gun community is a fickle cat, not liking things when they're new, then realizing they're fine some time later. Mostly these guns were always fine, sometimes having quality issues when first released, these then use as hyperbolic arguments against the model.

>glocks blow up
>m9s blow up
>ARs melt

Hyperbolic. I remember when the WASRs were considered shit and now a large portion of our community says they're the best cheap AKs. Same for Norinco.

Keep this in mind when discussing new models like Century's guns, Jianshe guns, ATI, or any of your budget ARs.

Ultimate point, the internet portion of our people are shitposters never to be taken seriously.

To give context, cheap ass scope mount from Amazon supposed to return to zero after taking off and remounting and this is where it hit. Close, not perfect.

>>32566605
The M9s in the military were not given proper service. Any gun, when abused and neglected, can be unreliable. The design itself, when not abused/neglected, is plenty reliable.

Holy god, what sort of Jabba-tier BMI would someone have to have for this to even be a possibility?
>>
>>32567128(You)
Glocks aren't unreliable.

>>32567239(You)
Oh, you mean that one model that only had issues when you loaded rounds to over double pressure, that was even tamer than ANY 1911 trying to handle double-pressure .45? kk
>>
>>32567180
Happened to me with a G26, when I normally work with either a G22 or G20. I consider it a training issue, not a design flaw.
>>
>>32563346

bro, glocks do that when you limpwrist

>M9's are unreliable because of chronically abused guns from the 1980's meme

Next up, pinching the slide will activate the safety/decocker and get u killed in da streetz

And yes, Beretta M9's are incredibly reliable guns. There is absolutely no way it can stovepipe for example.
>>
>>32563346
The biggest issue I have is with their stock finish on the slide. I dropped my 19 gen4 on a WOODEN work bench and it took the finish off in two places. My 17 gen3 has been dropped in the dirt/rocks too many times and barely shows wear.
>>
>>32565090
You don't want a safety on a conceal / carry gun.
>>
>>32567180
I have this issue with my G42 and sometimes I don't get the magazine in all the way and a round fails to chamber. Kind of annoying but it's something I'll subconsciously account for once I'm more familiar with the gun
>>
>>32565612
Except normal civilians don't walk around the streets with spears and bows, except autists. A handgun is a carrying civilian's primary mode of defense.
>>
>>32566605
Clean your fucking guns and service them PROPERLY, milfags.
>>
I don't want a safety on my cc gun. I also don't want to deal with sa/da issues when firing my first shot. That said, Berettas are fantastic guns. They're just not my choice for edc. I'd get one for camping or range time any day.

It's just that I walk to the train with my laptop bag, and I go through the niggiest part of my city to get there. So I'm going to carry something without a safety, with a reasonable trigger pull, etc. I still think Sigs, Berettas, CZs, etc are sexy as fuck and very desirable.

Nigger, the absolute worst Glock I owned was a Gen 3 G17 that Glock couldn't unfuck.

I had 2 Gen3 G19s that had an out of spec extractor out the box.

Glock fucked up right around they released the Gen4 along with changing to MIM extractors, strikers, and locking blocks. My old G17 made in 2005 literally had 1 malfunction in 10k Rounds to this non extraction bullshit.
