I've never seen levels 1-3. I assume the first 2 are for night wear only? And if level 3 is for hotter temperatures than level 4, wouldn't that jacket just make you sweat like a pig? One guy still got frostbite on his feet even through his marshmallow boots which by the way suck. You need the numbers 1-7 because that tells you which layer it is. You also need to know the temperature because that's a number too.
