I ordered a backplate, sights, and a 3 1/2 pound connector for my Glock. When I added the stuff to the shopping cart it was about $25 for postage, I live in Alaska. I emailed and said I was going to order but fuck that because of postage. Lenny emailed me back about 10 minutes later saying "forward me the order number and I'll see it gets shipped for free". I like Lenny and so should you.

Yes. Might have to do some hand fitting.
>>
>>32540728
Kinda like it. What would happen if you had a CHL or equivalent and carried one of these? Would you get into any legal troubles if you used a """"ghost gun"""" to defend yourself? I would imagine a prosecutor might jump on that and paint you as some sort of freak with unregistered guns, but then again it is perfectly legal.

I guess the P80 is about the size of a Glock 17, anyone know if they hold up well or is there a hard limit to how many rounds they can survive for?
>>
>>32541362
>Would you get into any legal troubles if you used a """"ghost gun"""" to defend yourself?
no, it's perfectly legal
>>
>>32541232
So I could order glock brand glock parts and build my own glock?
What's the cost compared to just buying one?
>>
>>32541407
I'm about to build one for a little less than $700. You can buy a new Glock 19 from a gun store for less than $550.
>>
>>32541407
It ends up costing more than just buying a Glock.
For some reason people think the slide, barrel and upper parts should cost the same as a used gun.
>>
>>32541437
neat
I might get one then, considering glock doesn't make 17's with OD green frames
>>
>>32541437
Does the Spectre 80 offer anything that the gimmick of being a ghost gun? IE, does it feel better in your hand? The magwell looks flared, which would be expensive to do to a stock Glock, right?
>>
>>32541407
a glock slide assembly and barrel is roughly 400 bucks
a used glock can be found for 400
>>
>>32541547
>does it feel better in your hand?
IDK I pre-ordered the compact frame. They don't ship until the middle of February. But from looking at the pics I can already tell that it's gonna feel better than a normal Glock.>>32540883
>>
>>32541407
You mainly go with these aftermarket frames in order to get something the base frame doesn't offer.

A lot of folks who have swtiched to them did so for the different grip angle, extended beavertail, different trigger guard, replaceable backstraps, stuff like that. It will cost you more than a stock glock, but the customization and personalization it will offer you appeals to a lot of folks.
>>
>>32541591
or you want a ghost gun with 1000 rnd clip.
>>
>>32541455
Ghost gun tax.

All glock parts kits jumped 100-200 dollars in price overnight when the polymer80's became a thing.

I thought mine was good, but the last time I took it shooting I was still having trigger reset issues. I heard it's a common problem. I need to look into it more.

Hopefully the compact version is better.

Heh its funny to see your boss like this on your Mongolian Shadow puppet board
>>
>>32540883
That looks a lot cleaner, I never liked the look of the texturing on their glock 17 model.

I should probably start looking for a parts kit before the frames become available, it seems like glock 17 parts kits are around 400-500 bucks because of it.
>>
>>32540728
A friend of mine built a "0% Glock Glock" on one of these. It was kind of a pain to fit up and get working right but I think it's alright now.
>>
We got the 19s for preorder
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4yV5fWHLe0&t=183sr
>>
>>32543344
glock parts kit were always expensive since glock doesnt sell all parts directly to the public. a parts kit is someones disassembled gun or aftermarket components. aftermarket like lone wolf costs more than glock since they dont have the economy of scale glock does.
>>
I thought about getting one of these but for the work involved and the cost after parts, I'll probably just go with a Lone Wolf frame that's already assembled. I'm still toying with it though because having a gun the government doesn't know exists is appealing.
>>
>>32540728
I did it cause it was the only way to get a handgun under 21 that wouldn't be a pain in the dick
>>
>>32543371
I think it has to do with the glock 17 and 21 being the only ones compatible with a glock 80% lower at this time. They sell considerably higher than other glock parts kits.
>>
They've got a bigger grip circumference than a G17/22. Feels more like a G21 in the hand.

IMO, not worthwhile unless you absolutely need an 80% gun. You can buy a private party Glock for less than the build's gonna cost you, and indeed one of the cheaper ways to go involves a $300ish PD trade G22 and a conversion barrel.

>gimmick of being a ghost gun
I see someone lives in a state that recognizes his natural rights and or the constitution. Not everybody is that lucky.

Has anybody seen this? Not sure if they're just using poly80's frame for the cgi mockup or not but I think poly80 is too busy with the glock 19 to notice this company ripping them off either way. Also, if this doesn't have a stop to prevent the mag from depressing the trigger, it is fucking retarded. Otherwise, decent attempt at deep concealment imo. 1 in the chamber, no need to rack after putting in the mag. Hopefully someone from poly80 notices this at shot show on the way to the bathroom or something and gets into a fist fight at their booth. That'd be funny
http://www.fullconceal.com/
>>
>>32545089
It's probably just an attachment for the PF940. Not a complete frame.
>>
>>32545122
It's an 80% lower with magwell cutoff up to the mag release, did you even look at it?
>>
>>32545144
>http://www.fullconceal.com/
Yeah, they're probably just selling the mag holder.
>>
>>32545165
Even if they are selling an 80% frame

>* Prototype Shown (Actual may differ)

So they can say they used a poly80 frame and change things up on the production model
>>
>>32545165
>taking a trip off to agree with yourself
There's a reason people don't like attention whore tripfags.

Every article I've read is reporting it as a receiver. No matter the company's plans, they should explain the idea a little better on their website. Fudds everywhere are shitting their pants over this btw, they can't grasp that you aren't supposed to put your hand infront of a loaded barrel, ie grab the mag from below.

the frame rails are polymer. I wonder how much 9mm/40 it could actually handle. I would make one as a dedicated 22lr maybe, it would most likely hold up longer. It would also cost about as much as a new Glock.

Also Lenny Magill ruined all the great old Brian Enos videos.
>>
>>32545745
>>32545941
what exactly is the legality of it?

so would a vice and a dremel tool be sufficient for the milling?

If you can't legally posses a gun, you can't legally finish this one. Check your local state laws regarding making your own guns. Most places it's legal but some it's not.

Protect yourself before you wreck yourself.
>>
>>32546386
So is milling it out yourself illegal? I was under the impression that home made guns were fine as long as you don't try to sell them
>>
>>32546413

Ebay funnily enough. Gunbroker. Expect to pay out the ass either way. They're mostly disassembled police trade ins.

You could also buy new parts from lone wolf, but expect to pay even more.

Because some people are old enough to own a pistol but not old enough to buy one from an FFL.

I bought a g23 kit for around 250 a while back in anticipation for the compact frame. Might want to look for 19/23 kits.
