I think it'd be the best way to get it to work well in both a revolver and semi-auto. If I went rimless and I'd either need moonclips or a funky retention system for the revolver. On the other hand, a rimmed cartridge could pose reliability issues in the semi-auto.

Revolvers firing rimless cartridges are pretty common in Europe.
They don't need to be terribly complex.

Rimless is the way to go, no doubt.
It's better in pretty much every way.

It sure would anon but cant it would screw with my meds, Im post chemo and marrow transplant and essentially a walking pharmacy so far a mix of valium hydromorphone and benadryl is working ok, but still thanks for the advice will remember it for when im off all these god awful meds. The valium and pain killers arnt so bad but having to take about 50 pills a day just sucks. Long term I will be fine though.
