Why didn't the utilization of dogs in warfare, on a massive

It isn't nearly worth the effort to throw them into what would amount to suicide attacks. They can't do anything that an unthinking, unfeeling weapons system doesn't do better in combat. They're much better for noncombat roles, where they see use.

Russians did. They put suicide vests on dogs and starved them. Then to condition them they'd place food under tanks.

an army has more costs than one would think. An army of omnivores marching is great if there is food. A army on herbivores is great if those things eat grass. How much fucking meat do you have laying around an ancient battle ground, to feed and mobilize a dog army?

Also, domesticated beasts generally revert back to some sort of instinctive behavior, undoing in those moments that matter the training that humans through trauma seem to memorize by instinct. Humans are good at performing actions by muscle memory when the need to do so is neigh, because, they can conceptualize their purpose relative all the other events to focus their attention - beasts for the most part can not.
