Hickok likes the 27 over the 26. I don't know why you'd want the snappiness of the .40 in that small gun but he likes it even with the lower capacity. The 19 is also not much larger in an IWB and people fight over the 19 and the 26, typically citing that the 26 isn't small enough for what it offers in comparison to the 19, and then others will say that(especially regular sized people) the 26 is the more worthwhile choice. I am similar in your size and I'd never ever be able to carry a 17 in a million years, so I presume the 19 is similar.

It's probably the best CCW. put nice sights on it, some talon grips and you're all set. Don't trust these single stack 9mm guns. You might need close to 30rds in a situation and these little single stack guns won't give you more than like 15 at the most, where this will give you 11 in the gun + 10 at a minimum, preferably 17 in your spare. very worthwhile in comparison to a G43. fuck 13rds. it will double as your HD gun too. i wouldn't use a single stack with 13rds as my fucking HD gun.

He carried the 26 and used it a lot in GSSF and won a Glock 29 with it, so it might just be sentimental value. He literally says in the video that the gen4 27 is his PRIMARY GUN. This video is from 2011 though.

Rent a g26. If you're ok with shooting with only two fingers on the grip (I'm not) then get the 26.

If you have to carry with the pinky extension you might as well get a g19 and have the benefit of added rounds.

anyone use a p320 subcompact for carry? The g26 shoots fine for me except that glock hump at the back hits the palm of my hand in a weird way and is annoying

I got one and I like it. Yeah it looks like shit, the sights on it are so shitty that looking at them can fuck them up. The gun is reliable and gets the job done. Plus if you had to use it in defense, it gets taken away by the cops, than you won't be missing a expensive gun.

Now you can get a light for them too.
