So it's basically about the equivalent to my hunting muzzleloader per shot.
If I could pick one gun NOT to get shot by in my collection spanning 6 centerfire rifle calibers plus my muzzleloader, my muzzleloader would be it. Those expanding bullets are practically 100cal when they expand.

They've made exception before, look at safari cartridges like .577 Tyrannosaur, .600 and .700 Nitro Express, older cartridges like .577/450 or .56-56 Spencer.

Savage 220 is one of the recommended shotguns for this round as it has the necessary twist rate. I'm assuming since the developer recommends it on his website that it will work in the magazine as well.

It's a bolt-action 20 Gauge shotgun with a rifled bore.

You use special slugs, such as those in the OP picture, and you basically have a large bore rifle.

These have an appeal in places like Delaware where rifles aren't allowed for hunting, and these being "shotguns", means they're legal for hunting.

Performance wise, it's like a rifled bolt-action musket, these will fuck up whatever it hits.

Sounds fine; as long as it's accurate, and it would be from a rifled barrel. It's pretty much a large bore rifle then.

I'll always stick with ye old Foster slugs in shotguns, though. They work to any range I'll use an bead sighted shotgun. I have rifles for rifle distances.
