>Sitting in Baton Rouge
>Get call from the FBI
>Load up Paris Gun
>Takes 20 minutes
>Finally loaded
>Fire
>Every window in a 10 mile radius is shattered
>Bonnie and Clyde just drivin around
>FBI ambush laying in wait
>Suddenly a loud roaring fills the air
>Bonnie and Clyde's car disappears in a puff of dust as something the size of a telephone pole hits it
>What follows next is a massive explosive
>FBI ambush is ripped to shreds
>FBI members are now part man part car as parts are embedded into their skin at terminal velocity
>J. Edgar Hoover is pleased
>Moves the gun Illinois
>Get reports of John Dillinger lurking about Biograph Theater
>Fire again
>The theater, FBI agents and the neighborhood is turned into rubble

I create a low profile dugout on either side of the road, so that each hole can see down the entire stretch of straight highway. These are disguised with foliage to look like natural overgrowth from the surrounding woods.

One hole is armed with a Browning M1917 and 500 rounds of belted. 30-06.

The other trench is equipped with a 37mm mle. 1916 infantry support gun.

The car comes into sight, as soon as it notices the overgrowth is a bit suspicious, they screech to a halt 200-500 feet out. The artillery fires an HE shell into the car, and then the machine gun crew unloads the entire belt into the vehicle simply for fear value.

A precedent is set, and throughout the nation mobsters and criminals are stopped by way of explosive direct fire support.

Why didn't Monitor replace M1918 in WWII? Was it too expensive? Why in the world did they field A2 instead? It was somehow even worse than the original!

probably too expensive. Even the monitor still wouldn't be enough to be a decent lmg. it still have the same 20 rd mag and non-removable barrel.
