Hey I'm trying to decide on a buttstock for my new AR. Cuckifornia so it needs to be 'fixed'. The magpul fixed stock is too damn short for my monkey arms and I feel like the bulkier magpul STR might be comfy. But I'd have to drill and pin it to my desired length after testing out the positions. Also I have milspec diameter carbine length buffer tube

Anyone have it and have opinions on the STR stock?

I'm not saying they SHOULD be configured for civilian use, I was saying that a dust cover and forward assist are worth losing if you get irons, magpul MOE+ grip, an adjustable stock, and a full length rail.
