Why won't people make anti-tank weapons on earth like they used to? Honestly for that, buy like 5 boxes of the Hornady 8mm match. That will give you a damn good baseline of what your rifle will like. I have yet to see a k98 not like that stuff. And excellent once fired brass that you can neck size for maximum loadings. Then you can just buy the 196gr Hornady match bullets for it.

Typically Hornady has the best brass, and for my off calibers I'll buy 5 or so boxes of the ammo so I get 100 once fired brass and a baseline. That's not saying that PPU has bad brass, it's good for making plinking ammo. Minute of steel fucking around ammo

i have a 10.5 in ar upper

from what i understand heavier OTM rounds have better wound ballistics

my question is: how would lighter varmint rounds do through it. isn't the problem with varmint rounds that they have too much velocity and shreds the round on impact (shallow wounds).

the velocity penalty with a 10.5 would allow the rounds to hold themselves together better, no?
