A little thickness makes a big difference IWB. It's the most important dimension in terms of affecting comfort.

Weight plays a big factor too depending on weather and activities. If it's 90 degrees out and you want to jog around town or something, the lighter the better.

Lastly is concealability, some people place greater emphasis on that depending on the social norms of their area etc...

I'll tell however that I've shot a Glock 43 and with large hands, it's too hard to grip.
