The nukes saved countless lives on both sides and shortened the pacific campaign by years by forcing the nips to surrender. 9/11 saved nobody, it killed 3000 Americans and and unknowable amount of raghead civilians over the last 15 years.

I love that argument how the nukes "saved lives on both sides" evethough they affected the lives of hundreds of thousands of japanese people. The explosions alone killed roughly 150 000 people instantly, those who survived the blast, were affected by the extreme heat, nuclear waste and other shit, causing a painful and longing death. Their offspring and generations to come were also affected indirectly, so that accumulates to several thousand casualties easily.

That is by no standards ever a deed that can be accepted, no matter what the winner-written history says. In that regard your "3000 burgers" killed in a terrorist act is absolutely nothing compared to the crime towards a nation the burgers did in '45.
