Yep, it was more of an impromptu meet a month back but a couple of us went shooting at The Arms Room since I had a free range pass there for buying my Supernova.

There's a rally near Austin coming up that we want to camp/go shooting beforehand. Don't know if I'd be able to make it with my plethora of medical issues, but we'll see.

Went to Total Shooting Sports on Davis & 26 the other day, they just opened last week. Great place, range fees about average but you can shoot as fast as you want and there weren't any ammo restrictions. Staff was really nice, too. Going again this week with a couple of friends.

They're only using part of the building right now, but have plans to build all kinds of shit in it, including a shoot house. Currently they only have pistol/rifle out to 30 yards.

Prices for ammo are higher than you can get online or at Academy but low for a range, $17/box for 9mm. Prices on guns were average, competitive with big retail stores.

I really hope they do well, we desperately need a non-fudd non-douchebag infested indoor range in DFW.

Oh shit, you're in my town. We've got a fudd operated store, great for random parts if you ever need them, don't get stuck in conversation there. It's off Belt Line and Pioneer, attached to Big Y.

Porter's Army Navy on Irving Boulevard is a bretty gud store, free FFL transfers and the dudes are based, and that whole area has pawn shops you can occasionally fine good deals in. Just note that they all have each other on speed dial.

We got Elm Fork to shoot at, which is technically in Dallas, but it's right next to Las Colinas, on Northwest Highway behind Spec's.

There's Eagle Gun Range all the way up in Lewisville if you prefer indoor ranges. I don't recommend DFW Gun Range in Dallas unless you can tolerate spaghetti and autism.
