Hey, so I was wondering. As far as home defense, does a .300 blk offer any real distinct advantages over a pistol caliber when suppressed?
I'm pretty sure the hearing safety act is going through, so I want an SBR with a suppressor pinned or welded to equal 16 inches.
The primary role would be home defense, so over penetration would be a concern.

My nigga
Over penetration is a meme. Just have your kids sleep up stairs. Fuck your neighbors

My lil bro killed it this year. He gave me that, a 120 rd pack of American Eagle, a 20 rd pack of tracer rds, and a replica flask used by the Royal Medical Corps during the Anglo-Zulu War.

Yea, not being a pistol cartridge.
Stop using caliber incorrectly.

I got it for $20. Can't argue with essentially a quad rail that matches your fde lower for that price!

I keep hearing that when used as a subsonic its essentially a pistol caliber

Eat my ass. It works.

>I keep hearing that when used as a subsonic its essentially a pistol caliber
A subsonic 220gr load from this is going to be the same as a subsonic 220gr bullet from anything else.
>pistol caliber
Stop.

Yeah, it kills the bad guy better than any pistol caliber can ever dream of.

The only reason to get a 300blk weapon is to SBR and suppress it. So if you plan to do those things then buy it. If not get a pistol caliber carbine.
That being said if you can't afford to shoot 300blk regularly don't buy a weapon you can't practice with.
