What's better than a 9mm Glock as a CCW? After looking into how they function and their safeties, they seem to be extremely well engineered, and the most optimal choice for carrying. They aren't unique or expensive so getting taken away by the cops after having to use it doesn't matter at all. You buy a Glock 26, carry 10+1 with an extra 10rd mag, have loaded 15/17/33rd mags at home for home invasion-tier shit going down, buy it with those trijicon night sights on it stock, and I don't see what could be better. You can carry it and use it as a HD/SHTF sidearm. I don't see a downside. I can pocket carry one of these things because they're so stubby. I want someone to convince me otherwise before I buy one.

Every point you've made is why I only carry a glock 26 and will be doing so until a gen 5 glock 26 is released. Every other alternative I've tried was larger than the glock 26 and the benefits weren't large enough for me to switch.

i honestly started carrying the 12 rounders they sell with pinky extension and i dont notice a difference from my 10rnd mags.
i love being able to slap the 15rnd mag and it feels like a G19

I carry the 17 and my wife carries the 26 with finger extension for 12 rounds. Got her the 17 magazine sleeve so she can run g17 mags. Works perfect. Extended slide and mag release. Truglo tfo sights. Crimson Trace laser.

They're fine, get one. I have a G19 and I love it, but I'm skinny so in the summer I carry a Ruger LC9s.
You really can't go wrong with any modern striker fired pistol from a well known company. Glocks have the advantage over M&Ps, XDs and others IMO since they have a huge aftermarket and mags can be found on sale for dirt cheap.

I like the sig p938 alot more. More comfortable to shoot, more comfortable to hold, better trigger. slimmer profile makes it easier to carry. It's just a better pistol imo but if Glocks are your thing I don't see anything wrong with them
