My industry has a ton of vets working in it. Marines tend to be guards or cable techs, Army is MIA, Most of our engineers and management is navy, Coast Guard seems to migrate toward inspection or testing. Air Force seems to always be either the FSO or deputy FSO. They are also always super paranoid with no sense of humor. Oh and Merchant Marines are alcoholics and womanizers who are amazing to party with.

EOD- Shitty job where of you fail the very difficult school then you become the militaries ultra cuck. You go do WHATEVER they tell you, have fun being a cook or a water purifier or some stupid horrible thing.

Those other two- I GUARANTEE you have to go through something like the defense language institute. Which is also insanely hard, and guess what happens if you fail? Cook or truck driver or something terrible.

These schools aren't like MIT genius difficult. They are hard because the military thinks that the best way to teach is like we are still in WW2 amd we need a new guy NOW. So you learn years of knowledge in months, or weeks. One screw up, one slip, you are DONE. You will talk to some really smart dudes doing literal mouth breather work and find out they failed EOD or diver or some other cool guy job. Shit sucks.
