I have a few friends with M400's that they have bought in the past 3 years and they all seem to run flawlessly. I'm talking about mag dumping mags full of a variety of shit ammo and never a hiccup. I've been eharing about Sig QC being crap as of recently but I've personally never had a problem with Sig rifles. I did have a 229 DAK for a while and that thing had at least one jam every 50 rounds and the trigger was absolutely awful. Getting rid of it and getting my G17 was one of the smartest things I ever did.

I have an early sig 556. I've heard it has most of its parts made overseas, but it has exeter stamped on the side. It has been great for a few thousand rounds. I also have a 226 from the late 90's i think.

It is pretty great too. Made here.

I'm not in love with sig, but I don't think that they're that bad. I think we just like judging things that we don't have.

I have about 3,000 rounds through my MCX. Never a hiccup. Gen 2 is gtg. I don't really like the handguard, but other than that it's been a fine rifle.

If the Hearing Protection Act goes through and they drop their prices on the 9 inch .300 memeout barrels and handguards I'll pick one up with a can.

My SIG 1911 had the rear sight fall out the first time I shot it. They fixed it in a week and paid for shipping, and it's as reliable as anything else I own, but that made me very iffy about buying another SIG product.

I own a 17 as my only glock. It's never malfunctioned and it'll shoot all day, but that's about it. There's not a single thing exciting or exceptional about it.
