+1 on the Model 27. It was the very first .357 Magnum, and it's a gun that's both a beautiful and an excellent shooter. The prices they command are also a lot more reasonable than those of a Python, which is hilarious considering that the Model 27 is going to be just as accurate, as finely finished, and infinitely more durable.
