My nogunz friend shoots with me quite often and says he enjoys it. Tomorrow I'm taking him to get his fist gun. Our budget is around $1,500.
Mostly looking for a range toy but might be used for hunting hogs or maybe deer. Any suggestions/k/?
Don't get too exotic on me, try for something that isn't particularly rare as we are limited to where we can go that's close to us.

uhhh, Mini Thirty? IDK man. I'd personally start with a handgun.

A hammock of mosim nagant rifles and a wheelbarrow of ammo.

Get an entry level AR and red dot sight ya dingus!
Ignore this fool. >>32403486
Newbies will have more fun with an ar with optic, it's easy to use and ammo is about the same price in 5.56 as it is for anything pistol caliber.

Mossberg 500 and a 9mm pistol.

Windham AR with a Vortex Strike Eagle and a Glock 19 gen3.

This. Take it from someone who got a nugget first, a 9mm handgun second, built an ar10, and pieced together an ar15; in that order; over the course of 3 years.
GO WITH THE AR15
Just buy the stripped/completed lower, a stainless steel stripped upper/barrel assembly with mlok rails and a 1/7 twist, throw a vortex sparc 2 on there and you guys can learn how to zero sights properly before blowing eachother on the range, faggot.

How do you feel about strike eagles?

Would've been better if it was purpose built for pic related

get 10 nuggets

Fuck I know I'm fat, but this totally made me want mcdonalds nuggets

You can never go wrong with something in .308
>>32403807
You can if you want a capable long-range caliber that doesn't fly like a pig.
Torn between suggesting a mini-14 and an entry level AR.

colt 901. One of the most underrated rifles in the market.

Boltie in .260 Rem and a semi-automatic .22lr rifle. Get a couple extra mags for the .22. Keep him loaded up.
SKS. Cheaper than an AR, fantastic brush gun,and is an awesome hog/deer gun. Surplus 7.62x39 ammo means that he can put tons of rounds down range without breaking the bank.
OP here, we'll be on our way in about one hour. SKS sounds good, I might just give him mine. Might go after entry level AR. I was up all night looking around and found a used AR at a pawn shop for around $600-800ish and that still leaves about $700 left in our budget. Ammo isn't going to be a problem, so got any last minute suggestions for a second gun my fellow dude.

A noice red dot and a can in future would be something to get as well.
I'll be sure to post a few pictures of whatever he settled on if you gooks are still hanging around.

Get a man's rifle.

awesome optic and a warranty that literally no one else can compete with.
the fags who shit on it are probably angry that their VCOG has been outclassed by a 300 dollar optic with a better warranty.
OP here. After a long day of looking and a few hours of deciding, we settled one a Lee Enfield MK111. It has all matching serial numbers and we paid $207 for it. Did we do good /k/? We still have $1300-ish left in our little budget. We'll be heading to town tomorrow to look for another firearm, but for now we are heading home. And no, I didn't forget about the pictures, Gemme a little while and I'll get back to you guys on that.
