I'm an American citizen but only recently moved to the country. I wanted to buy guns as soon as I got here, but the only place I could get myself started was Cuckifornia. I have no desire for dealing with all the bullshit California requires me to do, even for long guns. It's been about a year and a half, and I'm moving to South Carolina before Summer 2017, so I'll have some funs once I get there.

Once or twice a month I go to my local indoor shooting range and rent a whole bunch of shit with a buddy or two and shoot. When I was in highschool I was on a marksmanship team (but I did pretty bad).

As for the price, that might be a problem, depending on your location and available schools in your region, local hunting association schools tend to be cheaper than private ones, I paid 950€ in school fees (plus books, gas, extra shooting training) in eastern Germany, but in the west it might be more expensive
You should really look into your local Kreisjägerschaften, most have schools and they are always looking for new pupils
It's really interesting and you should get your license before the EU goes full retard or our government raises the gun safe requirements so you'd have to pay over 500€ for one instead of 300€
