Check some of the surplus rifle forums online- they tend to have people keeping track of these things.

A while back, an importer posted here on /k/. Someone asked what he thought the next big thing was, and he pointed out that there were a large number of Lee-Enfields being stored in India. It was just a matter of negotiations and the appropriate bribes to get them released.

Of course, nothing is that easy when dealing with the Indian government.

Century is a mega importer. Classic buys stock from century. It's all trickling out very slowly as we know for a fact from bankruptcy proceedings that samco had thousands of k31s, Swedish, Persian and Spanish Mausers. They don't want to saturate the market
