/k/. I really need your help tonight. I was going to make a recent acquisition thread to show off my new rifle and handgun. But I just had to her the rifle to put down my battle buddy. I know you all prefer dogs but she was my baby. I'd had her for thirteen years. She was suffering and I had to. I can't stop crying. I love you Mackinaw.

Grow up.

It's alright OP, your kitter is in a better place now.

I lost both of my cats to unrelated causes in the same month, back in September. I feel your pain, and I'm sorry for your loss.
>>32387307
Be glad you could even own a cat.

RIP Mackinaw. I'm sorry for your loss.
I'll be in your same boat in the very near future, so I'm pre-grieving with you. I'm going to have put down my GSD next week. Her b-day is Christmas Eve so I want her to see the ripe old age of 13. Degenerative myelopathy (sp?) where she has no control of her hind legs anymore (neurological). I've been making do with a belly harness to take her out for the last couple of weeks but it's gotten to the point where it's just undignified for her, there's no treatment or cure, and it's only going to get worse.

Oh, and if it helps, here's a pic of one of the buddies I lost.
I know that feel, OP. In 7 days it will have been a full year since I had to have my best friend put down right after I spent christmas alone. RIP Hans

You could get one of these hideous Sphynx fuckers. A friend of a friend has one, it feels weird to pet them.

Didn't know "cat" was one of the Colonel's secret 11 herbs and spices. RIP

I hope it's getting easier anon.

Yeah but what does it feel like to lick one?

Inb4 Giddy comes in with the thousands of dead cat pictures he had
>>32388879
why is he so edgy?
>>32387307
It's been slightly more than a year since I had to say goodby to mine. 17 years of fluff.
You eventually learn to deal with it.
>>32388901
Its Giddy who knows, one thing i know for certain is he likes to attack battle buddy threads sometimes
>>32387307
You did the humane, compassionate thing, OP. I'm sorry for your loss and jealous of the joy Mackinaw brought you that my lot in this existence doesn't let me have. Celebrate her life.

Hadn't considered it, but now I wanna know. I figure it's like licking Zapp Brannigan's velour uniform.
All love ends in separation or death because all life is transient.
Each bereavement is training for the next. They don't get easier, but you understand more each time. Loss changes a person. How is very much up to you. It's OK to grieve and feel. Repression is destructive.
If you think losing a pet sucks, and I have and it does, don't get married. Even if you spend your life together intensely in love, one of you dies and the other shitposts on 4chan...
Sorry for your loss anon. Great name for a cat. While I no longer own a cat, I know that pain immensely. I had a cat the same age as I was until I was 16 and she got killed by a car. RIP Makinaw. Milo grieves with you anon.
had to put this guy down 18 months ago. the pic is after the operation we hoped would save him. it still affects my wife and I very deeply.
if you can bury her close by and visit her often.
it helps.
>>32387307
WTF why didn't you take her to a vet and have him put her down? You will hate yourself forever for pulling the trigger on your poor kitty cat yourself.
>>32387307
How old are you.
>>32387307
Wow that's a cute doggo
