A slingshot is way more powerful than that.

Whatever will do, as the ammo is more important when most shop slingshots launch around 200 FPS.

Lead balls of .40/10mm and larger are pretty powerful; they'll shoot through small game just fine around 15 yards.

Grew up in a steel mill town. Our sling shot ammo was taconite pellets. Could gather a sack full by walking with a magnet on a string down a hundred yards of any railroad track in town.
