What gun should I get next /k/? Right now i have a .22 bolt action rifle.
What activity would you like to do that a .22 bolt rifle won't serve you?

That's a very nice .22. CZ?
>>32358294
Yeah, a LH CZ 452 from another forum. I have the Ultra-Lux and adore it.

My .22 does most things I want. I like the engineering and design that goes into guns, and having another one to shoot seems like it'd be fun.

In that case I'd recommend a revolver and a lever-action rifle in .38spc/.357mag. They're fascinating mechanically, but still cheap to shoot.

I vote for either a compact handgun or shotgun.

Consider the triple-safety mechanism or striker-fired design of a Glock 19. Maybe the long-recoil action of a Browning Auto-5.
>>32358422 's recommendation is also sound.

Can you get a 452 threaded easily? I'm thinking about getting a 452 as a suppressor host for cheap, silent plinking.
>>32358444
You shouldn't have any trouble doing that, but you may be better served by getting one that's already threaded. A suppressed CZ American is a dream to shoot.

Ooh nice, I didn't know they came pre-threaded. Here's hoping the Hearing Protection Act comes in before spring.

Also I kind of like the idea of having a military surplus rifle. Is the K31 a good choice?

The K31 is well-loved by its users and the straight-pull action is a novelty unto itself. You may have to order ammo online depending on your location.
