Does anyone here have an I.O. inc AK? Are they worth $550 or are they shit?
Nope. Avoid IO shit like a plague. Their shit is not built to spec and a extremely overgassed. Better get a WASR instead.

I thought $550 for a polymer AK was too good to be true. I'm watching videos on them right now and they seem like pieces of shit
>>32355297
i was hearing mixed reviews bro had to ask /k/ :)
>>32355308
The only positive reviews for I.O. are made by people who don't know shit about aks and how they should be made.
>>32355336
How much you think I could get a npap for? and where?
>>32355348
Used if you look good enough you can get a pap or wasr around 500 to 600.New your looking around 600 to 680.

Buy a Mak-90. You can get a milled receiver Mak for less than a grand and it blows any piece of shit on the market today out of the water. Plus, its only ever going to go up in value. Just buy a good AK off the bat and you'll be happy.

If you want a good, cheap AK, NPAP or WASR is totally fine.
NPAPs are beefier, WASRs have a FAR better aftermarket.
Chink AKs are excellent. But don't get a milled gun unless you're getting a PolyTech Legend (which is probably one of the best AKs you can buy in the States). Milled receivers are a meme, and everybody who recommends them over properly-made (PROPERLY-MADE, OP) stamped guns is parroting fuddlore from the 80s and 90s
I have one because I didn't know any better at the time. While mine hasn't exploded yet, I don't trust it worth a damn, and I'd advise you not to buy one.
