Hey /k/, /o/ here. I need to pick out an AR lower receiver ASAP before my unfree state makes them illegal.

Which of these manufacturers would
be the best bet: ATX, DRD, Spikes, or Anderson.

Offhand, I'm pretty sure Anderson is lower-middle tier, and Spikes is a bit better. I haven't heard of DRD or ATX though, and it seems like their online reviews are only about their complete rifles. Anyone have any input? Thanks.

The ATX and DRD lowers are considerably more expensive than the Spikes and Anderson ones, which I'm willing to pay, so long as it's worth it. What the fuck do I do about this?
It's less tilted than it appears to be, but still sits canted. One of the screws that attaches the mount to the bottom of the scope is cross threaded and stripped out, I can't tighten it down any more without fucking the head of the screw.

Bought used from a friend, so I'm planning on fixing it rather than trying and returning it. Should I just try and find a new mount?

Anyone have issues with mags not wanting to drop free with about 4-10 rounds left? I noticed today that my newer Lancer L5 AWMs won't drop free if they're between 4-20 rounds or so, but mostly between 4-10 rounds left. Empty and full they drop free just fine, aside from the clear ones which won't drop free with any more than about 5 rounds in. I'm guessing with the others it's a matter of the remaining rounds spreading the feed lips a tiny bit and causing it to catch the inside of the magwell, and with a certain amount of weight inside gravity takes over and drops it out anyway.

I figure this is ok since if I'm doing a partial reload I'm just gonna stash the mag anyway, but I'm curious to see if anyone's run into similar issues with other mags.

The third would give me the best of both worlds but I just can't get over how gay stainless steal barrels look. I'm not buying a goddamned paintball gun here.

Does it really matter? Any of these options should be fine right?

Should I wait for more deals? I'm kind of worried about them going out of stock, a lot of uppers have been lately, possibly due to the news about the electoral college (?)

Avoid those like the fucking plague, at least go for a chrome lining or SS barrel. Nitride/melonite is the best.

Clears were basically unusable. They dropped free while empty but anything over about 5 rounds and they'd need to be stripped out.

My old smokes drop free in all conditions (2013), but my new smokes and translucent FDEs (2016) are having difficulty. PMAGs and USGIs fly right out.
