I have a couple of these, they used to give them out when you bought an SKS. The pouches are way too small for an AR or AK mag. It's not just a matter of height, the pouches are just physically too petite to stuff a mag into. They're meant for two stacks of ammo mounted on clips, and that's all that'll fit. Don't buy one thinking you'll be able to jam your magpuls in there.
