Does /k approve of the widow's kiss? Would a platform like that work in reality. Would it be worth trying to make a similar system?
No. No. No.

It would be a great 15$ dollar Walmart toy

Whenever you see a gun that can shorten its own barrel or pop up a suppressor, it's a red flag.
There's a reason most precision rifles are bolt-action and simple.

>barrel collapses into frame
Could it split? Is that a possible?

>Could it split? Is that a possible?
Its generally considered a negative trait.
Blizzard is a california based video game company. They are terrible as gun designers.

It's technically possible if you're willing to handwave a lot of stuff. Based on that image it seems as though the "sniper" barrel is a smaller bore that collapses in to the breech, and can extend in to a weird ass Littlejohn Adapter. That'd explain why the "sniper" bullets have a significantly higher velocity.

>Somehow can merge three cartridges into one mega cartridge.
>Pop-up scope guaranteed to lose zero
>Have to open an obstructive and useless flap just to access the magazine.
No

What about if the barrel wasa set length, the assault mode was built as a bullpup, the sniper mode being set in the receiver. As far as I know the sniper ammo is caseless, (doesn't drop a case in game) so that could open up the possibility with there not having to be 2 separate ejector systems
The two-round burst bolt-action rifle from COD: Infinite Warfare makes more sense than Widowmaker's gun.

Why are you going to this much autism over a video game gun
