what is the point of striker fired guns? What is wrong with cocked and locked single action?

>hammer vs no hammer
there you go OP its a matter of preference, now go kys.
>>32239796
Look at the gross high bore axis of the sig and HK vs the glock. That's the fuckin benefit of not having a fuckhuge gay ass exposed exterior hammer system on your gun.

Bitchwrists detected.

Except it makes virtually no practical difference.

It's like you've never heard of CZ or something.
>yfw there's still people that believe in the DA/SA boogeyman
>>32239796
cause then you need a safety which relatively few people want anymore.

too shoot yourself with concealed carry

>L-low bore axis is a feature!
Fuck, Glock must be on a downswing
>>32239976
The bore axis of those guns is only high because they're double action.
Single action hammer fired guns have much lower bore axis.

>Single action hammer fired guns have much lower bore axis.

Someone's been reading the internet.
>>32241180
name one single action hammer fired pistol with a low bore axis
if you say anything based on a p226, 1911, tokarev, makarov, or cz75 you're wrong
When it comes to strikers I like the consistent triggers, it's too bad there aren't more single action only handguns besides 1911's, P226 SAO, and CZ 75 SAO.
And in the case of Glocks it's so god damn simple I'm confident I can repair, replace, or modify anything I want with the gun.

Striker fired mechanisms are more size efficient
