Grandpas just handed me his old Remington sportsman 3 shot autoloader just has a screw missing on 1 side and the huge screw that holds the handguard is also a little flushed now takes a couple turns to get it tight, do they still sell the small parts? I tried checking browning website but couldn't find shit, anyone else had one handed down?
Looks like an a5.
Claoms it a remington.
Wants browning parts.

Grandpa's gun thread?
Anybody got a good sling/stock wrap combo for a lever gun with no sling points on it, and doesn't drill in?

I seem to remember years ago seeing a sling/slip on butt pad that tried? or something to the tube magazine.

I've found places that do custom jobs for $300+ 8 weeks from order, but nothing masspro yet.,

Well Remington did manufacture auto 5's for a while. I would imagine they use the same parts

Did not know that
>>32237662
have you tried looking on numrich or brownell's?
>>32237887
They were made under the "Model 11" name.

Could have meant "Brownell's"

google for"no drill sling" comes up with a few likely possibilities

Check Numrich Arms for the Remington Model 11 Sportsman. 90% of the parts are shared with the standard Model 11 and Remington Autoloading Shotgun (Pre-11), they share a scant handful of parts with the Auto-5 due to the fact the Model 11 is a license built design produced off of the original JMB design where the Auto-5 of later years was slightly altered.

Bit of clarification on the Model 11 family, the earliest versions of this gun were actually constructed as early as 1905. In literature of the time they were marketed as the 'Remington Autoloading Shotgun' and were available in various grades. In 1911 the R.A.S became the Model 11 and continued unchanged in general design until 1928 when Remington introduced a new safety to replace the earlier 'suicide' safety. The Sportsman version first appeared in 1931 and the whole family was supplanted by the sloped receiver 11-48 in 1948.

Hmmm, came up with a few, but then I realized "why not just dig out the M16 MAMBA I should have buried somewhere in my closet for now?"
