Just joined a gun club here in Belgium.
Can't buy any guns yet, but after 6 months I can get a license and buy certain guns straight over the counter.
These are:
>lever actions
>bolt actions
>.22 semi (includes handguns)
I want to buy a weapon in one of these categories in 6 months so I can start shooting with my own weapon. Which would /k/ recommend?
I'll also apply for a permit to own a .357 Mag revolver, but it takes another 3-4 months.

Get a 10/22 and tacticool the shit out of it. Second gun should be a lever gun in .357 if you plan to buy a .357 wheel gun.

I second the 10/22 but don't mall ninja it up too much
get a good optic and start looking at variants you want.

What are the rules for gun ownership in Belgium? Limited number of firearms, calibers, etc?
A 10/22 is always going to be fun. Perfect first firearm. Only way that wouldn't be my first purchase would be if I was told "One rifle only".
That's pretty exciting, dude. Get a ruger 10/22 for fun at the range.

>lever actions
something in .357 Mag; compliments your revolver along the way. Alternatively, a .44 Magnum for more oomph and variety
>bolt actions
Nugget & SAKO; 7.62x54R + .308 WIN.
Alternatively, if you can find one, the Australian Arms M10, chambered in 7.62x39. They are technically re-chambered Lee-Einfields, and take AK mags.
>.22 semi (includes handguns)
10/22 and any .22lr handgun of your choice.

Do like i did. When you apply for that revolver apply for more weapons so you will pay only once the retribution for all of them... since im also in .be and i was in your same situation I suggest first and foremost a good .22lr bolt gun.

No caliber limit and no limit on amount, but... after 28 weapons you NEED basically a vault room in your house which needs to meet specific safety arrangements like locked doors and strong windows etc...
>>
This is a semi-auto rifle which he needs a permission to own from the province even if its a .22lr same goes for .22lr revolvers, but... 22lr semi auto handguns are aquirable with the sport licens

I just join a rifle club in UK. Same rules but no hand guns. bumping for interest.

something in 9mm, .380 or .45ACP so you can sell the ammo to people making pipe weapons
>>32217760
>>lever actions
Any lever action in .357
>>bolt actions
whichever you want
>>.22 semi (includes handguns)
Do you want a carbine?: SW MP 15-22
Do you want a pistol: Sig 226 in .22
A .357 Mag revolver is a bad idea if you can have a limited number of weapons, way better a pistol in 9mm.

From Liege here.. Buy an Erma M1 .22lr. They're dirt cheap.
And then start saving, because you will realise that you can buy .50 cal rifles with the Model 4 gun permit.
