I haven't ran over it with a vehicle but at my security job I was ambushed and the face landed flat on the ground and I slid about 6 inches and I then backhanded the melanin enriched gentlemen with the watch when I regained my footing. It chipped his tooth and the watch was no worse for wear, it's expensive and heavy but will outlast me and my sons.

I have one of those. It's pretty okay as long as you don't pay more than fifty bux for it. Mine has kept good time, but the strap pin came off one side getting caught on my coat. I was able to recover it and put the strap back, but I'm much more gentle with it now.

Seiko SKX-173 when I care enough to wind it up and reset the time/date.

This Citizen monstrosity most of the time, just because the strap is comfy and it keeps perfect time and date with zero effort or maintenance. Got it as a present from my not very watch savvy parents a few years back and started wearing it just to humor them, but it's grown on me. I actually find all of the timers and even the calculator bezel surprisingly useful, too.

Suunto core here. Wore a Suunto Vector for about 8 years before this, and I finally retired it.

Rock a Seiko model 5 off and on. Really love the Mod 5, just wish it was tritium lit.

Can't speak to the analog ones, but the digital ones are fucking tanks. Don't know if they're as durable as a G-Shock, but it's nowhere near as massive and mine has lasted for more than a decade of being bashed against everything.

Got it using the last paycheck of my first job. Watch I wore before was a $30 timex expedition where I changed the strap for a NATO strap.
