I got it tied one time, but it defenetly wasnt the rigth knot.. shoot a newyears rocket with it, went not that well..

That's actually intentional. By stiffening the tips and bending them forwards the bow gets better leverage for shooting arrows.

Forwards bent=faster max arrow speed.
