I have a Geissele SD-3G in one of my rifles and a Palmetto mil-spec that I polished in another. Obviously, there is a big difference in feel and lightness, but the polished mil-spec trigger is very usable, and I don't feel like I need the Geissele unless I'm really pushing my rifle to its limits.

Took my 7.62 ar to the range today. Nothing but light primer strikes and short stroking. Bought a heavier buffer and adjusted the gas block slightly. Probably file my firing pin a bit, once the short stroking problem is fixed. Might have to drill out the gas block, think its a 5.56 hole.

What are some good enhanced trigger guards that work with the BCM Gunfighter pistol grip?

The Magpul one has fitment issues, and while the BCM one fits, I don't really like it because BCM uses a flexible, cheap-feeling plastic. It would be nice to find one that uses the same rigid plastic as Magpul or even better, aluminum, and the same profile as the BCM one.

Sounds pretty sweet so far but definitely don't stick with the A2 muzzle device.

If you're set on a K2 style grip skip the Magpul and check out Tactical Link's grip. It is very similar to the K2 but different.

The Ergo Deluxe grip would be sweet as well. Whatever you do avoid the K2. They're out of vogue.

Given all that I would go with the STR stock. The ACS-L has those little compartments and looks more at home on a longer rifle. The STR will match the 14.5" better.
