Hey /k/ I usually lurk because I have no questions or interesting posts, but events that transpired in my personal life led me to need a medical kit.
I have been trained in CPR four times and first aid a couple times. This by no means makes me a doctor or qualified to treat anyone but it makes sense to me to assemble a medical kit for injuries.
So my question to you is what do you guys have in your medical kits, what should I put in mine and where should I buy supposed supplies from.
Thank you very much

OK there mister fuckin pro why don't you enlighten me and other anons
I have a rather important question. If I had recently been shot and bandaged up and blood started leaking from my rebandaged leg about 13 hours after being shot and 2 and a half after being rebandaged what do

nigga i ain't a doctor but you probably have a vein that's been destroyed now you need to clog it and get to a hospital or cauterize the wound also change bandages

Hospital said I was okay and bandaged it originally and gave me pain pills.

go back to the hospital and apply pressure

Go to a different Hospital.

Tourniquet, israeli bandages or kerlix gauze, chest seal
this is all you need for a basic rescuer kit with minimal training
>>32163221
maybe if you shoot it again the second bullet will plug up the hole from the first bullet
use a hollow point, those are supposed to expand. it'll expand and fill the hole

Return the leg

Most of what I have in my first aid kit is things to stop bleeding. I figure the biggest issue to me or someone around me would be bleeding out before the real help could arrive, or could get to the real help. Non stick pads for right on top of the wound, absorbent pad on top of that, compression bandage on top of that. Some of the hardware i have include shears, forceps, disposable scalpel.
Also, having supplies is great but its not worth much if you are untrained. In my area our fire department runs entry level and more advanced first aid classes that are very reasonable.

But the original bullet was a hollowpoint.
