Can anyone identify this bayonet? It came with a Mauser Kar98K, but it doesn't fit the rifle's lug.
Here's the obverse

I want to say it's an early production British Pattern 1907...

P07 only had 2 bolts in the handle not 3

what's the stamp at the base of the blade there? and is there anything on the spine?
>>32161936
There's nothing on the spine, and I don't see any marks at the base, only blemishes.
Damn 4chan only allows photos under 5mb, or I'd post quality photos.

Did it come with any sort of scabbard?
>>32161936
Nope, no scabbard.
A guy had it wrapped in an old blanket with a 1938 Kar98K, leaning in the corner of his basement. All he knew about it was that it was a "Nazi gun" his father brought home as a war trophy, and he assumed the bayonet went with the rifle. I bought the rifle and bayonet for $150.

>$150
Lucky motherfucker.
