You're literally an uninformed retard if you don't think that the MK23 is the most durable and most reliable handgun ever. You should be saving your money to buy one right now, dumb fuck.
>>
>>32153552
Is this the new sebenza posting?
>>
>>32153552

I don't disagree with you at all. I have a newer USP that feels like a brick. Couldn't imagine a more sturdier auto. Then I held and shot my friends mk23 and it'd ten fold more solidly built.

If I HAD to choose a semi auto handgun for ultimate harsh weather outdoor survival it would be this one.
>>
>>32153580
fucking right? The MK23 is just so much more reinforced it's fucking ridiculous.

You neglect to mention its literally the same size as a Desert Eagle, which rules it out of any practical carry roles. Its really just an e-peen fluff gun.

Trying to find the LAM, suppressor is $1,200 and not worth it IMO.

For that price you can buy two USPs for the ultimate in reliability: redundancy.

Amazing. Semi autos make compromises with shape, angle, etc thanks to the magazines and feed system. revolvers are designed to fit the human hand.

The MK23 is pretty much a HK Desert Eagle, and the MK25 rolled into one. It is uni-formally agreed that the Eagle is a range toy, one reason is the size of the gun. This gun also has another negative similar to the Eagle, it has an underwhelming magazine. For as large as it is, 12 rounds is not excusable. The price is also unjustifiable, like the Eagle. The only reason to own it, is because you just want to have it. There are better options. Even the Eagle has actual rails, HK never updated this old fat dinosaur, and now that it looks like it is going to be discontinued, they never will. The gun is like the MK25, being sold to those that are hyped it was used by special forces at some point, and feel connected by simply owning one. If you like it OP, that's okay. Don't fool yourself though, you are no operator.

How about no.

If for that price it included the laser/light combo, three mags, and a thread protector I'd think about it.
>>
>>32156385

>>
>>32156781

>>
Alright, I feel a little stupid posting in a troll thread because there's no way that OP is really as big of a fanboy as he sounds like. But here I am anyway.

The Mk23 is a pistol designed by a committee.
Literally.
What does that tell you about it?

This thing is basically the overpriced Zumwalt of the handgun world.
>>
>>32157244
How the fuck did he shoot it so fast
>>
>>32157954

>>32156385

>>32157685

>>
>>32158125
OK you got me there. Would have been bitchin' if we'd actually gotten 50 of those Zumwalts for the Navy.

Just the damn overpriced... over complicated procurement... what a headache man.

Everyone I've ever spoken to who BOUGHT a Mk23 raves over it. I've never spoken to anyone who was ISSUED one who ever spoke of it half as fondly.
>>
>>32153552
To everyone bitching about .45, this gun shoots .45 Super, google that and get back to me.

My USP45 is kept loaded with a full mag of this.

>lies on the internet

>>
>>32158321
Can the HK45 shoot that stuff too?
>>
>>32159862
Not without spring swap and possibly other modification that I am aware of, the USP/MK23 are kinda special retarded overbuilt.
>>
>>32156246
UUUU
>>
>>32159862
No, the USP has a special recoil assembly and design features taken from the MK23 that allows it to shoot tens of thousands of rounds of .45 super without damage. That 255gr is still sub sonic too, so you could hurl that shit through a suppressor
>>
>>32159905
Okay that makes sense.
I just figured maybe it did because it was supposed to be an improved USP but if it just don't have the recoil system then that's it.
>>
>>32160004
>supposed to be an improved USP
No, it's a civillian budget USP without any of the things that made the military pistols legendary and all of tge things that make modern HK inferior

>Sacrificing durability and reliability for ergonomics
>Sacrificing absolute Armageddon proof construction for cutting cost of manufacture
>Catering to the civillian market
>>
> reliable
Only with ball...things are supposed to have a hard time with hollow point because no one ever considered that they'd be shot through them throughout the testing. 2k for an ammo picky 90s gun is retarded and you should all feel bad for considering it.

.460 has 12,000psi higher chamber pressure, .45 super is for women and fags.
