Just watched this /k/. What did I think about it?
Also, /k/ movies general

the coca cola company headquarters and the CDC are both located in the same city. you know, the one that would be nuked off the face of the earth if there was some system in place to ensure that the people who nuked them could get paid by visiting vending machines (or something).
anyway, I watched Dances with Wolves recently, which I thought had some interesting firearm-related events.

CAN YOU IMAGINE, GUANO
anyway I haven't seen that yet, I can't stand Kevin Costner

>What did I think about it?
Ar...Aren't you supposed to tell us that.
I love it so I'm going to guess you thought it was great as well.
My favorite movie. Literally the only complaint I could possibly have about it is the beginning being slightly slow, it doesn't have a "hook" or some shit. But that's really reaching. I mean I can see someone not liking it. I've met people who hated V for Vendetta (my #2 fave). But it's just fucking awesome. Fail Safe was a pretty good one, too, being the movie Dr. Strangelove is based on.
> tfw you hear from friends about Dr. Strange and you don't have TV and are out of the loop so you get excited for a Dr. Strangelove remake
I'd honestly like to see it, I don't think it would taint the original even though it would invariably suck.
Good movie desu ne.
Now go watch Threads.

OP here. It's a /tv/ meme.
I absolutely loved it.
>>32137995
I don't think I could handle another remake desu. Have any of Kubricks movies been remade yet?
>>32138012
I don't know where to watch that. I'm tempted to find a friend in the UK to mail me a dvd.
What made the ending credits so hilarious and brilliant?

No idea. I don't think so.

My plan if there is a nuclear war, is to put on that song and sit on my roof ready to die.
>>32137800
it's a classic for sure
>>32137800
It's a fantastic movie and if you don't like it you're a faggot.
>>32137800
Dr. Strangelove is amazing. That scene of the shootout when the soldiers raid the base legitimately looked like it could be documentary footage. It was so well done.
>>32138160
Great delivery. APparently Kubrick told Scott to act a bit crazy and told him he wouldn't use those cuts.

Jack Ripper reminds of the average Fatnik poster on /k/.
>>32138186
I remember reading somewhere that they used live ammo during the scene where the general hipfires the browning.

>I don't know where to watch that.
Nigger, are you an oldfag?
Ever heard of torrents and peer2peer networks?
Threads is up on Pirate Bay.

Wasn't really into it desu
Can't really get into black and white movies

Subtle humor was more of a thing in the last century. I'm not surprised you kids don't get it.

>implying anything about Dr strangelove was subtle
It's a different kind of morbid humor. Obscure, fearless, offensive kind of humor. If you're going to get down to personal attacks then it would have to be that Dr strangelove is completely politically incorrect by today's standards.
>>32138068
The humor is in the tragedy of man.
>>32138068
>>32139154 is right. The humor is in the tragedy of species just starting to escape the bounds of traditional energy (symbolized by strangelove getting up from the wheelchair) by harnessing the atom and then immediately blowing itself up.
Saw Hacksaw Ridge the other day with family
was bretty fuggen good desu
a few "infinite ammo" scenes and some clearly ridiculous shots but it's hollywood, that's to be expected
I'm just glad that literally the only non white in the ENTIRE movie was a fucking italian guy
based gibson does it again
