Ok guys
what's the WORST gun you have shot?
pic related
Don't bother with shity bait senpai
>>32131876
>Posts shit bait thread.
>Doesn't want shit posts.
Honestly, why would I shoot a bad gun?
>>32131876
My catastrophic failure was far less spectacular than pic related, but I still got beaned in the face with a slide.
Even without the damn thing memeing itself to pieces, it still just feels like shite in the hand. I might already be a bit biased against polymer-frame handguns, but damn that was not a comfy gun.
Any variant of this gun.
Uncomfortable, shitty ergos, retarded mag insertion procedure, have to hunch down like a subhuman slav to look down the sights, not as fun as a 5.56 and less power than a .308.
Ar15
Haven't shot one that I consider the worst
They all have their niche, and they've all worked

Your mom says I am more of a son than a renter.

Bond Arms derringer in .410/.45LC. Nothing pleasant about it. Recoil was harsh, sights are garbage, and being hit with birdshot after it ricocheted off plywood at 7 yards really didn't help matters.
There are been guns that I haven't liked or enjoyed shooting but that was the worst.
.410 Derringer.
The one cubic inch of contact it makes with your hand is going to hurt for days if you have the lack of metal wherewithal to shoot defensive 000 buckshot.
>>32131876
Hey, .357 out that short of a barrel isn't bad. Just make sure you're wearing your sunglasses.
>>32131876
Tie between Nylon 66 and 2 different Makarovs
Nylon 66 had huge buildup (muh nostalgia). Trigger was crap, loading was a hassle, way less enjoyable than 10/22, 77/22, or even a Marlin camp carbine
Makarovs were heavy as fuck. Heavy DA trigger, gritty SA trigger.
>>32131995
How did the slide fly off?
>>32132369
Is this the secret path to
>are you me
Also,
>renter
I think you mean tenant
>>32131876
I had one of those and I loved it. They're just worth too much for something that's just a novelty tho so I sold it.
>>32133230
>being hit with birdshot after it ricocheted off plywood at 7 yards really didn't help matters.
Same thing happened to me. A rare time when I shot without some sort of eye protection on and 2 B.B.'s hit me in the face, one right below the eye. I didn't imagine that fucker would be so weak it wouldn't penetrate a thin sheet of particle board.
An early S&W Sigma. The SW9C model with the DAO trigger.
It functioned just fine, but it felt incredibly shoddy, and you could make a sandwich between when you started pulling the trigger and when the striker dropped.
Also, the owner only had one ten round magazine even though this was in 2010 or 2011. Presumably the mag that came with the gun.
>>32131876
Worst gun I've ever shot is my Mossberg 500. Only other guns I've ever shot are a Glock 19, Ruger 10/22, and my AR tho.
I never go to a range and rent guns, and most of my friends and family aren't into guns.
>>32134063
Oh fuck. I forgot about that. Horrible trigger.
Still have an early Sigma (40S&W) in the safe. Couldn't bring myself to sell it. The public shame.
>>32134075
>Worst gun I've ever shot is my Mossberg 500.
What was your complaint with it?
>>32131876
Hi-Point .40
>>32132112
OP said no shitty bait.
>>32134106
Dude's only shot 4 guns.
But I dont like mine too much because the thing jiggles.
>>32134314
Loose tolerances, more reliability.
>>32133942
I'm not 100% sure, and it wasn't my gun so I never really bothered to figure it out. It looked like the frame rails pretty much sheared off, but I think the damage went further than that. If I weren't a dumbass, I'd have taken pictures of it.
I felt bad that I "broke" my buddy's gun, but then again he rather hated the thing too.
>>32134075
>Worst gun I've ever shot is my Mossberg 500
Why tho? Did you feed it 3-inchers?
>>32134244
OP also asked for opinions.
>>32131876
Worst I've ever shot was a Tec DC9.
>despite technically being a double-stack mag, mags were ridiculously long for their capacity (20rd mag was longer than a 32rd UZI mag, 36rd mag was literally 2 feet long and could be used as a monopod from sitting position)
>trigger pull required the dial off a deer hoist to measure, break was over 20lbs
>despite a very long sight radius, the sights were extremely extremely crude non-adjustable notch-and-post, even from a rest it shot 2 feet low at 15 yards
Next worst would be an issued M9, but only because the locking block that was supposed to have been fixed in the 90's sheared and I took the slide to the chin.
>>32134106
Not him, but I've never had much love for Mossbergs. They're so damn rattly that they just make me uncomfortable.
>>32134340
Can we please stop circulating that fuddlore. Even if that were the case, it's allowance, not tolerance. Loose tolerances would just mean that the parts could be manufactured to a wider range of dimensions.
Even then, all looser allowances allow for is more shit to get into the action. It'll still seize up just as easily once dirt gets in the mix. If anything, a well-built gun with tighter allowances will be more reliable, because it won't have to deal with the ingress of dirt to begin with.
>>32134416
Wrong.
>>32134413
It's a shame about service M9's. The gun itself is freaking excellent, but it's gotten a reputation for being shit solely because the ones people get issued have been beat to hell and back by decades worth of servicemen.
I'd love to see how something like a Glock or SIG would fare in the same circumstances. My guess is they'd be quite a bit worse off.
>>32134452
do I see a source anywhere?
>>32134454
I can't say I ever really cared for the M9 or the 92FS, but as far as quality or usability go my chief complaints are:
>the military pistols have a pinned rear sight that isn't even drift adjustable, and whoever (probably some armorer) pinned them didn't make sure they were zeroed first
First one I was issued shot about 7 feet left of the target at 25 yards and the rear sight was barely in the dovetail, but it was pinned where it was.
>the military still refuses to use "high cap" mags, sticks with the 15rd ones
Pistol's big enough it should hold 18-19. Beretta *finally* started making 17rd OEM's when they released the 92G and of course Promag has the 18rd ones, but the Promag mags aren't very reliable.
>DA trigger pull is long compared to most other DA/SA pistols
It's relatively light though
Pretty much the only complaint that extends to the civilian offerings is the long DA trigger pull. It's worse than comparable handguns from the same era (S&W 5000-series) but in no way unusable. I just...really had my opinion of Beretta pistols kinda shit on by some of the retarded decisions our military made.
>>32131876
Either my friend's Mosin or a dirty as fuck range rental suppressed AR. Mosin was just the least pleasent bolt action to operate, and AR constantly shot gasses in my face because I'm wrong handed.
I shot one of those completely retarded S&W Model 500 revolvers with the little 2.75" barrels. It wasn't terrible, though. Seemed to have some heft, felt okay, if a bit top-heavy, until you pulled the trigger. Holy shit. I kept it away from my face, but just the muzzle blast felt like I got punched in the nose every time it went off. Not a fan. The 8" barrelled offerings are actually pretty fun, though. That itty-bitty 2.75" guy, though, not fun.
>>32134363
If you took that picture take that shit off there and don't ever do that again. Our flag isnt a place mat for your ebin Instagram photos
>Inna Vietnam
>M14, doing good
>About to head out on patrol
>They take my M14 and get M16
>More rounds, lighter, less kick, should be good
>Charlie at 10 o'clock
>Jam and Toast
>instead of shooting him get shot in shoulder and leg
I'll go take a look and see if I can find my purple heart.
>>32134561
I can understand that. Especially the trigger - 92-series triggers annoy me, and I carry a fucking P38. The P38 should be worse, but the massive take-up on the 92-series just feels so off. Only thing I dislike about the gun, really, other than perhaps its size.
>I just...really had my opinion of Beretta pistols kinda shit on by some of the retarded decisions our military made.
As have many others, and sadly most of them aren't aware enough to differentiate military problems with gun problems.
>>32134363
Are you that black youtuber? The hat and the mossberg...
>>32134664
Heres your (((you)))
>>32134561
>Promag
You mention them and not Mec-gar? Mec-gar makes very reliable magazines that are 18 rounds flush and 20 round ones that poke out just a bit.
>>32134488
Start with some for your conjecture first, champ.
>>32131876
My uncle's old Enfield is probably the 'worst' I've shot.
>action is sticky as fuck
>doesn't like to feed from the mag
>doesn't like to eject properly
>scope mount loose as fuck
>magazine is pinned at 5 rounds for some reason
>trigger feels like the mechanism is full of sand
I've shot other Lee-Enfields, too - they were definitely a lot better looked after.
P-64 in DA
SA is not that bad but holy shit
Probably this thing. I don't know if the one I got to shoot was a bad run but holy shit the trigger pull was awful and for its size it should be a whole lot lighter.
>>32134664
I'll fucking set it on fire if you don't shut the fuck up. How about that?
>>32135476
Then you're a disgrace.
>>32135476
Do it.
>>32135396
Nope that's accurate of all of them
>>32135543
It's a fucking flag, you mong. It's a symbol. Not like he's shitting on George Washingotn's grave.
>>32135601
God damn it I remember your picture but I can't remember what the second from the right was again.
It's some American gun I remember that.
>>32135642
Wilkinson arms terry rifle. Most know them as the linda carbine but mines a different version. They are fun guns. Magazines used to be $100 a pop but they just started remaking them for like $30
>>32134684
It's that size to be used with some sort of gloves. When I shoot my 92-FS I almost always have one or two gloves on, to make it more comfortable.
>>32134684
>I carry a fucking P38
t. obergruppenführer
>>32131876
Jennings 22. Better off throwing the thing.
This piece of shit. My father bought it for my mother for a CC years ago. She gave it to me recently after she sized up to ago full 9mm. I didn't intend to carry it or do anything with it to be honest, just something to fuck around with.
Mom took it out to shoot, started at 10 yards
Missed every shot
Shes getting old, maybe she's just shit
I load it up and miss every goddamn shot
"Alright it is just a .380, made for self defense, 10 yards is a stretch, let's get closer."
5ish yards
I hit it once.
Fucking once.
I get one of those "am I retarded?" moments, two mags later, not a goddamned thing. The shot I actually landed, might have just been a fucking fluke. Try a bit more at varying distances, and it's awful. I even get out my USP45, my Walther and a tiny .25 auto pocket pistol I bought at a yardsale, just to make sure it wasn't me. Everything else was fine, even the .25 did better. No idea why this gun is so bad.
>>32131876
Shot a glock once, it was awful. Hurt my pudgy hands.
>>32134063
I had a S&W Glock. Finally managed to sell it after years and years of trying. By far the worst trigger I've ever felt.
>>32135614
Are you retarded? You sound retarded.
>>32132112
I would agree
Getting low enough to use the sights is retarded.
Then some AK models hit the stock into ur face every shot.
Making you not want to go low on the sights.
>>32134669
Clean your rifle then.
