Why shouldn't i put a magpul PRS on a rifle that will primarily be for sub 200m.
I don't want to mess with a collapsible stock.
>>32122717
because it's heavy and expensive
just get their non adjustable
>i'm OP
>I'll make a thread and then disappear
And the next thing you'll say is that you were waiting for more people to comment
kill yourself
>>32122762
I don't know what i'm doing which is why i'm asking /k/. I'm not going to keep posting trying to argue with you guys that i want one simply because it looks cool. I don't want to mall ninja my rifle.

But....
Okay whatever
They are interesting, and they will help you shooot better groups from a bench
But if you're not shooting from a bench much, you're going to have a heavy, long, expensive stock
If you want it, go for it, but I'm telling you up front, you probably won't like it if you ever go on hikes or anything with it
>>32122717
The LuthAR stock is also reasonable. Probably lighter, too.
>>32122717
UBR
>>32122834
not OP, but I've handled them and while they're not shit, they are definitely cheap
mold marks, weaker plastic, etc
It's not something I'd say to not get, but I'd personally spend more just for the quality
>>32122836
oh wow, an /arg/ fag shows up and doesn't pay any attention
typical
I would just use a CTR stock with a cheek riser if necessary. Unless you're doing only prone shooting with a monopod on the stock, the weight is going to be a bitch. If you want a full length stock without all the weight, do an A2 stock.
But in the end, you do you.

Buy magpul's ubr stock
>Sturdy as a non collapsible
>About as heavy as the prs
>You can preset it to a length between fully extended and closed
Seriously the preset is awesome because you can yank on it and it'll extend to your preferred length every time instead of carefully counting each adjustment with a collapsible
>>32122842
>Hurr durr I don't know what I'm talking about
Typical europoor
>>32122855
>I don't want to mess with a collapsible stock.
>I'm fucking autistic
~u
>>32122842
It has presets you can lock it at, fuckass.
Adjusting a stock takes literally two seconds and gives more versatility, so eat me
>>32122717
Just try a magpul fixed carbine stock
>>32122862
>Durr hurr I can't infer reasons why a person wouldn't want a collapsible and then provide a different option that negates the negatives of a collapsible while providing the same benefits
>Pls rape my face
~u
>>32122883
You must be a tripfag in disguise, no one else would dare disagree with anon
>>32122862
see
>>32122883
I'm buying the rifle for work. I don't want to run to my trunk and shoulder my weapon only to find that my stock has shifted.
>>32122891
Then get an a2
>>32122891
Considering you can beat the stock against the ground and it won't budge I don't see why you would think it'd shift in a truck.
Its rock solid, heavy as fuck but weight for a precision rifle isnt a bad thing.
Adjustments wont move unless you do it yourself
>>32122910
again. i know fuck all aboht ar's. wh
>>32122834
Kick ass stock. The MBR-1 fixed and the MBR-3 carbine.
ACE would be my preference in that situation. The foam is a bitch to put on but they're bomb proof, not all that heavy, and look sxy. Plus you can buy them in your "preferred" size.
Save some money. Just get the fixed stock
>>32123240
whats that in the chamber?
>>32123758
What do you think is in the chamber
>>32122717
Get a A2 style stock.
6.8 spc2 master race!
>>32122717
Heavy as fuck.
Up to you, though. If you don't cart it around on day trips I can't understand why it would be an issue if you prefer it.
