Any Ohio deer hunters looking to hunt with an ar15? 45 Winchester magnum is the only plausible chambering.

you might as well stop being a special fucking snowflake and just hunt with 44 mag, they're identical power wise

I will be ordering a custom barrel and using a 450 bushmaster bolt carrier group

I just thought it would be an interesting build and I like the idea of a all in one gun so I can take it for hogs too.

if you handload go for it. I suppose i'm personally not inclined to go at great lengths to employ cartridges that time forgot
spekaing of which, I just moved to ohio and I've never hunted before. I know I can google this but since we have some ohioans here: what is the best way for me to go into hunting? I don't know anyone who hunts and as mentioned before, I've never hunted myself so I wouldnt like to venture out by myself

In my opinion 45 win mag is a round that should not have been forgotten. Its pretty much just a semi auto 44 mag.

Check the odnr website I think they have some information on guided hunts.

Just did the math after I start reusing brass I will be down to 19 cents a round compared to 1.50 a round not reloading.
