Med or low, definitely not high. There's online resources for determining scope ring/base height. The rifle may come with rings though; dunno. Try to buy at your LGS and bring your scope/rifle with you to make sure it fits, but 40mm obj isn't all that big.

Heading out tomorrow with the new scope, already fired the rifle with a 6x SWFA scope, this was the result with 175gr Federal GMM.

Heading out with 100 rounds of Australian Outback 168gr tomorrow.

Be aware, the action screws were 5-10 in/lbs under torqued on mine out of the boy, hit those with a FAT wrench or simmilar to 40 in/lbs to start, mine are at 44. Also, magazine only holds 9 rounds properly, TRIPPLE check mag is seated every time or it may fall out under recoil.

I still had to build my cheek rest up with electrical tape, self adhering bandage, and foam padding (topped with moleskin for comfy) and my scope is so low the magnification range adjustment ring actually rides in the channel in the rail. So you will likely need a raised cheek rest.

Rifle did this with PMC X-tac M80 ball, simmilar results with federal white box ball (1.5" at 100)

The guns shoot great, but they are rough and feel like corners were cut in the fit and finish department, you should be at 1moa or under for most good ammo.

The scope rings I bought, they are cheap, fit the rifle well, and are decent quality. Torque to 25 in/lbs (Buy a torque wrench, this is not negotiable)
