I have here an 1891 argentine mauser
Its all original according to the serial numbers but for some reason I cant find one with a curved bolt like on this
The cavalry carbines had them but I dont think this is one
I have more pictures inbound
Hopefully someone here can enlighten me as to what some of these markings are
Sadly the crest has been ground off
You can See just a hint of the rightmost part of it still left though
This handshake stamp is on just about every part of the barrel and action
This is on the stock
Not sure what it is

I've been seeing a lot of those sporterized Argentine Mausers lately.

How many with curved bolts like this?
Its a very mild curve, almost like the people who sporterized it just bent it under heat

All of the ones I've seen are identical to yours. Think they were all sporterized by Interarmco

I have one I picked up a couple years ago as a dumb 18 year. Ive been itching to get rid of it but its not worth the 300 I paid for it.

What's wrong with it?
