Not OP, but I'm mostly an airgun guy. Have a little pistol for defensive use, carry that suppressed. But otherwise just a bunch of airguns ranging from 6fpe to 20fpe, mostly for target and rodent applications. If I wanted to hunt anything bigger than a squirrel or rabbit I'd just build a more powerful airgun, a PCP in .25" or .30" delivering a handful of shots at 50fpe or more depending on the quarry. It's really not very difficult getting a PCP up to 100fpe. A bit more challenging to do it properly in the 200fpe+ range.
