This thing is not even near being capable of being attached to an AK, it's just added for the looks & sales.
And yes, I do have an AK.

I bought it out of curiosity, was only like 10 bucks.
The fake leather holster is shit - it's supper delicate, made from the cheapest fake leather that exists (there are decent fake-leather holsters), the latch holding bit ripped off very quickly, so did the pins on the belt-holder.
The grip is for like, a baby, I had to wrap it around with fuckload of medic sticking plaster (than I painted it black with marker cause it got dirty).
The fake-leather holster is now covered with thick fabric holster I just happened to have, held in place by isolation tape.
The guard got loose and started to "clank" after a while so I put some cement-glue to keep it in place.
So why did I even bother to keep this trash?
Well, the steel of the blade is actually not so bad, easy to sharpen and doesn't loose the edge too easy, and the grip is pretty comfortable after I fondled with it.
I'm actually thinking about getting a kydex holster for it, I have a friend who plays with that and does it for cheap (not like it's fucking rocket science, you just buy sheets of it, put it over the object, and heat it with heater.).

I've been hunting with a couple of guys that go out with dogs and knives. It normally is one cut to major artery in inside of the leg and that's it. No stabbing involved. So techniqually you just need a sharp knife and a K9 buddy for distraction.
