AMEND 2 / HEXMAG S2:
Has anyone had any experience with this magazines? I've heard good and bad stuff from Hexmag Mags, mainly bads from the S1 mags but i haven't heard much from the Amend brand. Which ones are better, are any more superior than the other?

I tried out the amend 2 mag that came with a lower receiver I purchased. It works. Not sure what else to say about it. I like my lancers and pmags better, but the amend 2 worked fine.

I had the Series 1 for a while and it hasn't worn out but i've seen that some people have had problems with them. Then again they're made of plastic i don't think they're meant for things like mag dumping.

I heard Lancer mags get stuck often.

Just get some GI mags with Magpul followers

OP Here,
Commiefornia reporting in.
You'd have to put in a limiter in order to "legally" use it. I personally do like standard GI mags. You'd have to turn it into a 10/30 mag.
Bump 4 interest

never had a problem with mine
>>32088402
I have both.
Hexmags feel lighter and more plasticy but the S2 mags are ok. I use them at the range and don't bother converting them to 30's. The Amend mags feel stronger and thicker, i'd use those for HOLD ME SHTF situations. Regardless, don't mag dump to be tacticool.

lancers are the best mags I ve ever used. the best of both worlds really
I bought a hexmag this summer because it was a good price. Failures to feed, wouldnt hold bolt open when empty, wouldnt drop free even when full (tried on 4 different ARs, same result). Glad i only wasted $7, but it became a target at the range so I guess it wasn't a total loss.
piece. of. fucking. shit.

They don't
>>32089276
It seems to vary depending on the type. For reasons unknown, my AR drops all of my smoke and translucent FDE Lancers no problem, but the clear mags only drop free when empty. Loaded they choke in the magwell and have to be stripped out.
I guess it doesn't matter much since the clears are the least cool looking of the three anyway and I've got a bunch of the smokes.

I've heard nothing but good news about the new Hexmag brand Hexmag hex pattern magazines.
>>32090652
Apparently they also got stuck too, the first series that is. I haven't really heard much about them after that though, in a negative sense.

What series?

It's Cali. They're too far gone. Can't even make a fatboy joke since even the comments section got their fill and then some.

never had any problems with series 1 or series 2 hexmags in any of my ARs

That's cool.

all my hexmags have anime on them.

I bought a pack of 6 hexmags. They work fine, and seem just as well made as pmags. The followers are nearly identical (save for some cosmetic differences, probably having to do with patents).

Man, the cyber bullying is real lmao.
I don't care for my hexmags
>>32098768
you should at least feed them, clean them, and take them for walkies to the range
>>32098768
What do you dislike about them?
