You should try not to get so many calories just from sugar.
Yea, if you need an extra 200 calories that day to meet your goals, then a few donuts are okay.
Also, you're not eating 3500 calories if you're 150 and not gaining 2lbs of weight per week.
Just make shakes with the things I listed and you shouldn't have that much trouble getting in some quality calories.
I was a super skelly a few years ago, and now I'm 6'3 and 190, so I have experience in your situation

Got them on my german AR. I've been using them when I had no red dot on that AR. They're just perfect.

Now the irons I mainly use are the Troy ones, because I have them on my Troy, but they're super expensive.

Depends on what you're planning to do with the AR really.

Shooting far ? Go for the KAC. Shooting quickly and the target is pretty close to you ? I'd prefer them something with a larger rear aperture.

Look for a stolen valor rear if you want to save some bucks.

In the end, I still have two KAC rear iron sights, one KAC front, one MBUS pro front and a set of Troy.

So for instance Windham has a carbon fiber rifle at a comparable MSRP at around $900 USD. Not sure what the consensus for rifles like that is but compared to a Springfield rifle I'm not sure if it's worthwhile to replace things off of either or just go all in and get an Anderson lower and worry about the rest later.

If you are able to use a screwdriver, punches, and a hammer, you can build an AR. The Saint and Windham are okay, but for the money, you can build something better.
Avoid polymer/carbon lowers. Most of them are weaker and prone to cracking. TN arms makes a decent one, but even then, a cheap aluminum lower is only $10-20 more.
Anderson is fine for a basic lower, but it will not net you any Internet points.
If you aren't comfortable building the upper, build a lower and buy an upper from PSA, but avoid PTAC
I built pic related for a little under $800 before the scope and trigger.
